Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian, DVM to join our team at Lexington Rd. Animal Hospital in Waterloo, Ontario.

Our state-of-the-art facility features the latest technology equipment for digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Job Responsibilities

As a Veterinarian, DVM at Lexington Rd. Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and developing strong relationships with pet owners
  • Performing soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Dedicating to promoting team-based medicine practices and coaching students
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans and protocols
  • Maintaining accurate records and staying up-to-date with industry developments through ongoing education and training
Requirements

To be successful as a Veterinarian, DVM at Lexington Rd. Animal Hospital, you will require:

  • A valid full DVM licensure, allowing practice in Ontario
  • Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, pet owners, and community
  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
