Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary:
At Xpera, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our Claims team by providing administrative assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of our claims management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Claims team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Assist in the preparation of new claims assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the Claims team.
Requirements:
- Grade twelve diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or related field an asset.
- Insurance industry experience an asset, particularly in claims or adjusting.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
