Clinical Informatics Specialist Opportunity
BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of electronic health record systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical workflow assessments and translate requirements to digital health/information technology leads.
- Liaise with clinical groups, project teams, and organizational stakeholders to assess technology gaps and clinical needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise in system design, evaluation, and troubleshooting.
- Lead in the development of clinical change management policies and procedures.
- Participate in steering committees and taskforces for PHSA clinical informatics initiatives.
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
- Three (3) years' experience in a Clinical Informatics environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
