Lead Adult Nurse Specialist

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. This role requires a commitment to excellent patient care and a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the Cardiology Input Unit. As a RN, you will work under the supervision of the Manager Health Services and be responsible for providing independent nursing services, administering prescribed medical treatments, and coordinating patient care and discharge.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Administer medications and perform other medical procedures as required
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- One year recent acute medicine, cardiology or surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
