Clinical Psychologist Opportunity in Public Health Care

Providence Health Care is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Public Health Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, delivering high-quality care to patients in various specializations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinates research activities and develops business cases to secure program approval.
- Presents and publishes original psychology research to national and international experts.
- Oversees the day-to-day functioning of research activities and provides oversight to clinical research teams.
- Trains research assistants and participates in the recruitment of staff and clinical research team members.
- Provides administrative duties in support of the research area and completes psychological assessments of referred clients.
- Provides individual and group psychotherapy to clients and liaises with external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University, plus one year supervised internship.
- Two years of recent, related experience, including experience conducting or leading research activities in a clinical setting.
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
