About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Chinese Christian Wing Kei Nursing Home Association. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Availability to work occasional shifts, with a minimum of 15 to 37.5 hours per week.
