Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at The Grill East Indian Cuisine & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our culinary standards and recipes.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records and managing kitchen operations.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
