SAAS Business Development Representative

Ziff Davis, LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our team as a SAAS Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth.

- Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on experience)
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with our cutting-edge martech products and services, including Campaigner and SMTP. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Presenting and promoting Ziff Davis's martech line of products and services to new and existing clients within a defined geographical territory.
- Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Meeting and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Identifying and closing new sales opportunities and growing business with existing clients.
- Continuously updating and maintaining prospects for pipeline management, daily activity, and forecast data in CRM.
- Managing and nurturing the sales process from lead to close.
- Maximizing sales in a defined territory.
- Providing return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals.
- Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.
- Identifying and understanding customers' needs and helping implement solutions.
- Compiling and analyzing data to find trends.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- A proven 4+ years of work experience as a Sales Professional, preferably in a SAAS space.
- Well-spoken, highly inspired, determined, and goal-oriented.
- An understanding of common sales cycles.
- Experience in prospecting, discovery, product demos, proposals, contract review, and closing tactics.
- Pleasant communication and committed negotiation skills.
- Experience and comfort with delivering web presentations to individuals as well as groups.
- Establish interpersonal relationships paired with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients in various settings.
- A team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
- The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
