Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Normore Enterprises Limited. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggestive selling
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in a retail environment is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Work Environment:

Our store is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift items as needed.
