Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Project Director to lead our Commercial Projects team in developing and executing innovative solutions for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, from initial visioning to execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements through the project lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, procurement, and implementation phases.
  • Manage market engagement with industry partners to validate and refine transaction models.
  • Succinctly communicate and present ideas, strategies, and commercial solutions to government officials and key stakeholders.
  • Design and implement procurement approaches and evaluate bids.
  • Manage commercial and legal negotiations with private sector partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including agency, ministry, and political staff.
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Oversee and manage external advisors and liaise with internal partners as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience working on broadband, satellite, and/or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Leadership experience in developing and presenting complex strategies and transaction structures to senior decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems and navigate ambiguous situations.
  • Substantial experience in financial or professional services, such as management consulting, engineering, planning, or legal services.
  • Financial modeling, service delivery, infrastructure, or land use transaction experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with government clients or political stakeholders is beneficial.
