About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Financial Director to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. This is a critical role that requires a strong leader who can effectively manage organizational resources, develop strategic objectives, and represent the organization in official functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs, allocating necessary resources to achieve goals.
  • Establish strategic objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs to ensure alignment with overall vision.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring effective communication and representation.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards achieving organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment and Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Additional Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
