ServiceNow SPM Business Process Specialist

Alcor Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow SPM Senior Consultant to join their Enterprise Service Management (ESM) practice. This role involves utilizing the ServiceNow platform to drive business process improvement and excellence.
This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity for a senior consultant to work with our global team and stakeholders to build solutions to a wide range of business requests. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting workshops for clients, helping them build roadmaps, and providing any documentation requested.
The ESM practice is looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for working closely with process owners and subject matter experts to gather requirements, write stories for enhancement and defect requests, and test solutions to ensure delivery of a high-quality product.
The ideal candidate will have experience in facilitating sprint planning sessions and backlog management, focusing on prioritizing most valuable work while promoting Agile principles. You will also be involved in building testing scenarios and facilitating testing with subject matter experts/process owners for semi-annual releases.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with process owners and subject matter experts to gather requirements and develop comprehensive solutions
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions to educate clients on best practices and industry standards
- Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of project deliverables and outcomes
- Providing input to governance models for SPM, including writing process-related material
- Participating in meetings and working with customers to maintain a working knowledge of practices operations and needs
Domain Expertise:
- Reviewing and prioritizing backlog items based on business needs
- Maintaining knowledge of IT Business Management standards, methodology, and processes, as well as emerging technologies and best practices
- Providing communication, education, guidance, mentoring, and expertise on IT Business Management strategy to customers and team members
- Participating in meetings and working with customers to maintain a working knowledge of practices operations and needs
Requirements:
- Experience building strong business relationships cross-functionally
- Experience influencing and challenging peers and stakeholders to drive towards a common goal or solution
- Experience working with complex problems and solutions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Experience managing concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting customer expectations
- Experience with business process analysis or design
- Experience working with IT systems and stakeholders to solicit and capture requirements
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
