Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary
As a Payroll Coordinator at Western Coast Insurance Services, you will play a vital role in facilitating and processing full-cycle payroll for over 2000 employees. Your responsibilities will include improving the end-to-end payroll process, providing guidance and solutions on payroll and systems, and responding to employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the processing of semi-monthly payroll in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to Managers/Employees inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in requests from other areas of the business, including reporting, payroll, and time & attendance.
- Support in processing special payrolls, including quarterly and annual bonus, merit, increases, and year-end adjustments.
- Contribute to the processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes in payroll systems.
- Produce and provide records of Employment and other payroll-related documents.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in payroll for 100+ employee base or similar accounting administration.
- Have completed or working towards completion of the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation would be an asset.
- Experience with SAP-Success Factors, Workforce Software, or Desjardins EmployerD would be an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
