Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electric Meter Technician to join our team at BC Hydro. As an Electric Meter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electric meters to ensure accurate and reliable electricity measurement.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electric meters to ensure accurate and reliable electricity measurement.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electric meters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct tests and inspections to ensure meters are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve meter-related issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, and paid time off (volunteering or personal days).
  • Permanent position.
  • English language.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
