Job Title: Associate Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor to join our faculty in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in the Sociology of Health and Mental Health and a proven track record of excellence in teaching and research.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in the Sociology of Health and Mental Health
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Sociology
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program
  • Contribute to departmental service and committee work
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Sociology or a related field
  • Established research record in the Sociology of Health and Mental Health
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in research and teaching
