Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, and other respiratory services as prescribed, as well as educating clients on their condition and prescribed therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate oxygen therapy, CPAP therapy, and assess respiratory health on an ongoing basis.
  • Educate clients on their condition and prescribed therapy.
  • Follow-up assessments to be completed on a regular basis.
  • Obtain informed consent to initiate therapy.
  • Protect clients and employees by adhering to safety and infection control policies and protocols.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with current registration in good standing with their college.
  • Proof of License to practice with the provincial governing body (CRTO, CNO).
  • Proof of a valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to provide a clean drivers abstract.
  • Previous Customer Service experience is an asset with a minimum of 1+ years related healthcare experience.
  • Fluency in English required (reading, writing, and oral), bilingualism is considered an asset.
  • Professional and friendly interpersonal skills with strong customer service values.
  • Excellent organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations, prioritize tasks, and set deadlines.
  • A professional and mature demeanor, with strong communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Must be committed to both personal and patient/client safety.
  • Current Basic rescuer CPR and First Aid Training is considered an asset.
  • Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, or similar accounting software & experience with CRM/EMR system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
