Flynn Group of Companies, a leading trade contractor in North America, is seeking an experienced Highly Skilled Enterprise Software Specialist to join their team.

With its headquarters in Mississauga, this company works on virtually every aspect of a building's outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, specifically in Microsoft Windows servers and services, MSSQL database management, and PowerShell scripting.

This role requires the ability to provide direction to Applications Team and influence stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effective and in keeping with the overall IT strategy.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to address problem areas with the core solutions, as well as creating and maintaining system architecture maps and system documentation.

The estimated salary for this position is around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications for the organization.
  • Provide technical support escalation capabilities for a wide range of out-of-the-box business applications and in-house custom solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address problem areas with the core solutions.
  • Create and maintain system architecture maps and system documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong customer service focus with demonstrated skills in supporting users to assist in addressing issues and concerns.
  • Performance tuning, Server configuration, Indexes analysis, Backup and recovery, T-SQL development, Disaster recovery, refreshes, upgrades, and patches.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with shifting priorities.
