Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills?

We are seeking an Office Administration and Support Specialist to join our team at the University of British Columbia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments, including typing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents, as well as processing incoming and outgoing mail, sending and receiving messages, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks.

You will also be responsible for preparing and formatting page presentation, compiling data, statistics, and other information, preparing invoices and bank deposits, and providing general information to clients and the public.

In addition, you will be responsible for ordering office supplies, maintaining inventory, performing data entry, providing customer service, labeling files according to retention and disposal schedules, labeling, filing, and retrieving documents, organizing and scheduling office work, and preparing and monitoring contracts and budgets.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who has strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

A competitive salary is offered for this position, estimated at $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
