We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Giant Tiger. As a Grocery Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a visually appealing store environment.
• Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
• Participate in visual merchandising, including creating displays and maintaining store fixtures.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
