Nurse Practitioner, Gyne-Oncology Specialist

Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Gyne-Oncology team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients and contribute to the growth and development of our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients, developing treatment plans and prescribing medications as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and promote a culture of safety and respect.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Gyne-Oncology, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) plus 4 years of recent, and relevant clinical nursing experience. Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) required.
