Senior Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our RhynoCare Healthcare team in the Chesley area.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies, physician's orders, and scope of practice.
• Utilize sound nursing principles to ensure excellent patient care and well-being in assigned home areas.
• Ensure timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers/discharges.
• Maintain accurate records, control, and safekeeping of medications and narcotics.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Able to work effectively with individuals with infectious diseases.
• BLS Certificate and valid First Aid & CPR certification.
• Proof of current immunizations for MMRV and negative TB skin test within one year, as well as Hepatitis B.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shift times, including eight or twelve hours, and ability to float between units as needed.
• Reliability in accepting scheduled shifts and being placed at agreed-upon facilities/unit.
