The Dorset is a renowned culinary establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, and maintain a clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Culinary Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a culinary program.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
