Job Description


This locum position offers a unique opportunity to work in an academic tertiary care level referral centre, providing high-quality patient and family-centred care in a team-orientated environment.



Responsibilities



  • Provide locum coverage as a General Urologist in Regina, Saskatchewan
  • Participate in OR and procedural time, including cystoscopy and ambulatory care
  • Contribute to the clinical and academic productivity of the SHA
  • Demonstrate experience and training in Urology, appropriate for an academic tertiary care level referral centre
  • Show evidence of interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to research and surgical education at all levels
  • Be eligible for provisional or regular licensure through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
  • Meet the requirements for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urology


Requirements



  • Certification or eligibility for certification in Urology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Eligibility for provisional or regular licensure through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-volume environment
  • Commitment to high-quality patient and family-centred care
