Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Rolls-Right Industries Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing the movement of supplies and materials between departments. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers and coordinate the delivery of goods
  • Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, including the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments and ensure that all shipments are delivered on time
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels and ensure that all stock is accurately recorded
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure smooth operations
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure that all deliveries are made on time
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices is an asset
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations is an asset
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles and practices
