We are seeking a Laundry Operations Manager to join our team at SEA TO SKY LINENS LTD.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position that involves overseeing the daily operations of our laundry facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of employees and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
  • Customer Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations and respond accordingly.
  • Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Working Conditions

This is a 40-hour per week position with opportunities for overtime. You will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.
