Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team at Allstar Rebar Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for fabricating and preparing rebar for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery, including benders, shears, and overhead cranes, to fabricate rebar according to specifications.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
  • Tie rebar bundles together with wire for shipping, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform general labor duties as required, supporting the team in achieving project goals.
Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not available.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English at an intermediate level.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic measurements and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Construction, manufacturing, or rebar tying experience is considered an asset.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required.
