About the Role

Bloom Recruitment Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Expert to join our team as a Senior Information Technology Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining complex IT systems, leading technical teams, and delivering high-quality solutions to clients. They will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, deploying new client systems, and overseeing project tasks.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and implement innovative IT solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as automation tools and AI.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership & Advanced Troubleshooting:
    • Provide expert-level technical support to clients remotely and on-site as needed.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to servers, networks, desktops, laptops, printers, and imaging devices.
    • Utilize advanced automation tools and AI to optimize troubleshooting and service delivery.
    • Lead the deployment of new client systems and oversee complex profile transitions.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage project tasks, ensuring timely and successful completion.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement IT solutions.
    • Integrate automation and AI tools into project workflows to enhance efficiency.
    • Prepare and execute backup plans to mitigate project risks.
  • Mentorship & Training:
    • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a growth-oriented environment.
    • Develop training materials and documentation to enhance team knowledge, including best practices for using automation and AI tools.
    • Share expertise and promote best practices within the team.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive solutions and strategic recommendations.
    • Introduce clients to innovative technologies, including automation and AI solutions, to improve their operations.
    • Respond promptly to client inquiries with clear and effective communication.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through reliability and transparency.
  • System Administration & Monitoring:
    • Administer and maintain client disaster recovery solutions, including advanced backup restores.
    • Monitor Remote Management & Monitoring (RMM) tools for critical alerts, addressing them proactively.
    • Implement standard requests and changes to client servers and network solutions.
    • Leverage automation tools to enhance system administration efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with the team to refine and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement.
    • Create and update comprehensive documentation for internal policies, procedures, and client configurations.
    • Document automation workflows and AI implementations for team reference.
    • Participate in team meetings to strategize and align on projects.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving:
    • Take ownership of complex projects and tasks, ensuring accountability from initiation to completion.
    • Embrace new technologies and innovative solutions, including AI and automation tools, to optimize service delivery.
    • Adapt quickly to changing situations to maintain service excellence.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled individual with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Managed IT Service environment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or certification in IT or a related field and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, including expert troubleshooting abilities, extensive experience with server and network administration, proficiency with disaster recovery platforms, and familiarity with automation tools and AI technologies.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
