The Shaw Festival is seeking a highly skilled Production Stage Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Senior Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of performance in the Stage Management department.
You will oversee all functions of the department, including independently managing a Stage Management team of 13-15 persons, consulting on departmental hiring and assignments, and coordinating and publishing daily rehearsal schedules.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years of professional Production Stage Management experience and will possess excellent attention to detail, high-level thinking, and exceptional people, communication, leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a Stage Management team of 13-15 persons
- Consult on departmental hiring and assignments
- Coordinate and publish daily rehearsal schedules
- Oversee all functions of the Stage Management department
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years of professional Production Stage Management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and high-level thinking
- Exceptional people, communication, leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
