Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for our MOVES product line.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics designers, manufacturing specialists, and test engineers.
  • Maintain existing designs and ensure conformance with state-of-the-art standards.
  • Develop prototypes for future products and prepare engineering change requests and change orders.
  • Support production and service teams and interface with partners, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or a related field.
  • P. Eng. designation is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a regulated industry, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems, threading, optimization, memory management, and interrupt handling.
  • Proven debugging techniques for embedded systems using soldering and common electronics tools.
  • Experience with revision control systems, such as Git/Gitlab.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Microcontroller embedded software development in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with sensors and serial protocols, such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Aptitude in programming for reliability and testability.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of complex integrated electromechanical systems and embedded software.
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards, including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and IEC 60601.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
