Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Smartway Freight Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising other workers, determining and establishing office procedures and routines, and scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other administrative staff
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for management and staff
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the appropriate personnel
  • Answer electronic enquiries and respond to emails
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Arrange travel and related itineraries for management and staff
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contact or service area
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents

Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
