Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at JJ's ON THE DOCKS EATERY. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies.
  • Prepare and cook food for special guests or functions, as required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
