We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at St. George Restaurants Limited.

Job Description

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 30 to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance on sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Train staff in job duties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Evaluate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Oversee maintenance of records for stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, making data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, with relevant experience in the food services industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising 5-10 people in a similar role.
