About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist Assistant to join our team at Gill and Grewal Optometry Professional Corporation. As an Optometrist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our optometrists in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist optometrists with patient consultations and examinations
  • Supervise and manage activities of other opticians or student opticians
  • Advise clients on the use and care of contact lenses and eyeglasses
  • Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses and cut and edge lenses to fit frames
  • Adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Client focus, reliability, and team player
Work Environment

Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an Optometrist Assistant, you will work closely with our optometrists and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
