Business Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team at HARIS FAROOQ CANADIAN IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT INC. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries.
  • Sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically.
  • Send and receive messages.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits.
  • Provide general information to clients and the public.
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Label files according to retention and disposal schedules.
  • Label, file, and retrieve documents.
  • Organize and schedule office work.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Possession of MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
