About the RoleThe Sr. Manager Contracts will analyze, develop RFP strategies, and handle RFPs and contracts with customers and commercial partners while ensuring quality and legal compliance. This role will also manage a team of contract professionals to support business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the work of assigned contracts team within own function, developing a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies.
- IDentify risk, develop, and lead in the implementation of contracts strategies, including negotiations with internal and external parties, driving improvements, and increasing revenue opportunities.
- Oversee all pricing models for sales contracts, analyze market and internal sales data, provide pricing guidance as applicable to sales staff, within the guidelines of business unit pricing.
- Provide guidance to key stakeholders on RFPs and contract strategies, remaining up-to-date with local and regional tender requirements.
- Engage in customer interactions to support contracts execution and strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree + at least 8 years of experience in related fields.
- Proven successful leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
- Proven understanding of contract or bid management procedures, addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines.
- Expert knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
