Healthcare Administrative Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Team Assistant to provide administrative support to our team in their daily activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt, effective customer service to patients, processing new referrals and orders, managing confidential patient records, and entering and updating patient data in our electronic database.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in both written and verbal French, a Grade 12 diploma, 2+ years' related office experience, accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills, and proficiency with database software and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators
- Process new referrals, and orders for services, supplies and equipment
- Process and assist in managing confidential patient records
- Enter, update and maintain a high volume of patient data in the electronic database
- Answer a high volume of telephone inquiries from patients, families and service providers, and refer callers as appropriate
- Provide back-up support to other positions, as required

Preferred Qualifications
- A college diploma in the health or social services field, or business/office administration
- Familiarity with medical terminology, and office administrative procedures/concepts
