As a Senior Manager with our Tax team, you'll play a key role in delivering customized tax strategies that meet the complex and dynamic needs of our clients. With a strong understanding of Canadian Tax and a proven track record of leadership, you'll design solutions that minimize risk, drive efficiencies, and maximize returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple client-facing engagement teams to deliver high-quality tax engagements and prepare tax returns
  • Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, reports, and management presentations
  • Evaluate business processes and policies to advise on policy and tax changes, developing proactive tax strategies
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to resolve client issues
  • Prepare election forms for corporate reorganizations
  • Assist in managing personal and trust tax compliance seasons
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, understanding their business, key risks, and ways to deliver added value
  • Accountable for engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials
  • Maintain high-quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate and address issues
  • Network in the local business community and contribute to business development opportunities
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches
  • Mentor and coach team members towards professional and personal development
Requirements
  • Completion of the In-depth Tax Program and other specialist development courses
  • 7-8 years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience
  • Extensive working knowledge of Canadian Tax
  • Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
  • Proven people management, relationship, and leadership skills
  • Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills
