Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Travellers Motel. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position, English language.
