Master Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Chef to provide relief coverage for our culinary team. As a Relief Baker-Breakfast/Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking main meals according to client requirements.

About the Role:

• You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring all meals are prepared and served on time to the highest standards of Horizon North/Outland.
• As a Relief Baker/Breakfast, you will be responsible for preparing breakfast and baking for 7 days a week.
• As a Relief Chef/Manager, you must have Red Seal Certification and will be responsible for leading the culinary team when the Chef is absent.

About You:

• You have formal culinary training – Red Seal Certification is required.
• You have 5 years of cooking experience in a similar or hotel/institutional environment, preferably.
• You have excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in all areas of the kitchen, including hot kitchens, cold kitchens, pastry/bakery, butchery, and banquets.
