Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 1661529 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Transactions: Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as process returns and exchanges.
- Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are properly displayed.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in visual merchandising, maintain store displays, and support sales promotions and events.
- Verify Customer Age: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
