Job Title: Head of Power Supply Construction

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the construction of power supply sites for our On-Corridor Works project. As the Head of Power Supply Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of power supply site works, from preparation to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) of all power supply site works
  • Ensure compliance with Alstom's EHS rules and create a culture of zero accidents and zero deviations
  • Plan and execute power supply site works on time and within budget
  • Manage suppliers and subcontractors on site
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead the Buy/Do decision process for each site works work package
  • Develop and implement methodologies for power supply construction activities
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all power supply works
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Works, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer designation as per Canadian regulations
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction oversight and management of T&D or Railway Power Supply projects
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E and NESC requirements for electrical maintenance and construction of power distribution systems
  • Strong knowledge of Canada standards and common practices
