About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Youth Nurse to join our team at Resource Ability. As a Pediatric Youth Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children with medical needs in their home communities throughout British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 respite care in the home and/or school environment
  • Work collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform various nursing procedures as required
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration with BCCNM
  • Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • BC Care Aide Registry for HCA's
