About Ontario Inc.

Ontario Inc. is a dynamic retail organization seeking an experienced Sales Management Professional to lead our sales team to excellence. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and implementing strategies to stay ahead in the competitive retail market.

Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of 3-4 sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify consumer demand, trends, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Merchandise Selection: Collaborate with suppliers to select high-quality merchandise that meets our customers' needs and drives sales growth.
  • Price and Credit Policies: Develop and implement effective price and credit policies to maximize revenue and minimize losses.
  • Marketing Strategies: Design and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and boost sales.
  • Budget Planning: Create and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize profit margins.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Secondary Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales management or a related field.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and direct staff towards achieving sales targets.
