Dry Ice Equipment Service Specialist

Cold Jet is seeking an experienced Dry Ice Equipment Service Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, Canada. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing installation, service, and troubleshooting support on dry ice blasting machines and manufacturing equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Field Service Technician: Perform equipment repairs at customer sites and the Cold Jet office, conducting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair on industrial machinery.
- Technical Support: Provide phone support and hands-on troubleshooting, resolving customer issues diplomatically.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory control procedures, reviewing monthly trends and recommending replenishments.
- Revenue Generation: Work with regional sales representatives to service customers and grow territories, identifying opportunities for add-on sales.
- Shipping and Logistics: Pull ordered machines, prepare them for shipment, and enter data into the ERP system.
- Department Support: Listen to customer needs, empathize with their issues, and provide best solutions, ensuring 100% satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent military training.
- 5+ years' experience in field service working with mechanical equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP & CRM applications.
- Strong business communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
