About the Role

MAGCOR INC. is seeking a skilled Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in carpentry and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing layouts and measuring tools to ensure conformance to building codes.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, which may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions. You will also work outdoors and in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you must be willing to train and learn.
  • You must be able to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and meet tight deadlines.
  • You must also be punctual, reliable, and a team player.
