About the Job

MARKHAM FINE FOODS is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description
  • We are seeking an individual with a strong background in retail management to oversee daily store operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high customer service standards.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
  1. Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  2. Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  3. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering merchandise as needed, and conducting regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy.
  4. Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of cash handling and adhering to company policies.
  5. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
