Medical Care Specialist

The Alex Community Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide full scope primary care to youth aged 12-24.
Responsibilities- Hold and panel patients for in-person and virtual consultations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Provide education and support on health-related topics
- Respond to urgent concerns and emergencies
- Member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
- Appropriate medical liability insurance coverage
- Affiliation with a Primary Care Network (PCN) or willingness to join a PCN
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth, vulnerable populations, and reproductive health
- Estimated annual salary: $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience and location
