Job Description

The Provider File Processor role at Canada Life is focused on processing provider referrals within our time service framework while adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process workflow and webform referrals according to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Validate provider eligibility by conducting thorough investigations, including phone contact with providers and relevant regulatory bodies or associations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider eligibility and information on our database.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong keyboarding skills for efficient data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to ensure accurate results.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Able to maintain a high pace while ensuring accuracy in work output.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word applications is an asset.
  • Bilingual French/English skills are considered beneficial in this role.
