Responsibilities
- Ensure Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and standards.
- Oversee Regional Projects to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality project deliverables.
- Monitor Employee Performance and enforce bi-weekly review and enforcement of employee billable hours.
- Participate in Recruitment and Retention initiatives, collaborating with Human Resources and Resource Manager.
- Contribute to Business Improvement opportunities and initiatives at both regional and company levels.
- Review Project Plans and Resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure Quality Standards are met by reviewing project outcomes with project teams.
- Client Management and retention.
- Business Development activities, identifying new opportunities, and communicating with the Business Development VP.

About the Opportunity
Our Client is currently seeking a Senior Biologist to join the team. Preference is for candidates to be based out of Fort St James, Fort St John, and Prince George, BC. However, we will consider candidates that reside outside of these areas. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and Joining Field Teams in various disciplines (wildlife, birds, fish, aquatic habitat, water quality, vegetation, soils, wetlands, environmental monitoring, sediment, and erosion control).
- Contributing to Environmental Impact Assessments, mitigation plans, and proposals.
- Assisting in Preparing and Obtaining Regulatory Approvals for various projects.
Your ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.Sc. in Biology or related discipline with five years of experience, and RPBio, PBiol, and/or P.Ag. designation or eligibility. Courses or certifications in electrofishing, fish identification, bird survey methodology, amphibian salvage methodology, and plant identification would be considered assets.
Candidates with the following skills and experience will be considered:
- Sound Knowledge of Field Techniques and regulatory standards.
- Excellent Organizational, Interpersonal, Time Management Skills, and physical fitness.
- Ability to Work Independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent Writing and Communication Skills, desire to grow business, and work closely with other environmental professionals.
Due to the Nature of the Role, you must have a valid Driver's License. Lastly, you will be joining with the passion to contribute and believe in the work that they do.
