Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Culinary Director to join our team at Tandoori Boys.

Job Description
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu pricing and inventory management decisions.
  • Create new recipes that showcase the flavors and techniques of international cuisine, with a focus on East Indian specialties.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure high-quality dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, catering to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field (no degree, certificate, or diploma is not a requirement).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in international cuisine, particularly East Indian specialties.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
